Chipshol is the leading privately-owned land development and investment company in the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol region. The company develops high quality business parks on land, which it owns in this main growth area of The Netherlands.
Chipshol's philosophy is based on the vision of its founder, Dutchman Jan Poot (1924), who built an international track record of groundbreaking achievements in urban planning. These include award-winning residential parks and the lauded ski resort of Valmorel in France.
CEO of the Chipshol Group is Dutchman Peter Poot (1954), who in 1988 joined the company founded by his father as Secretary of the board, becoming Chief Financial Officer four years later. In 1995, he ascended to his current position.
