Largest private land position sold to Schiphol Airport
Among the first to recognize the land development potential around Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Chipshol pioneered a vision for a major 24/7 Airport City with a gross floor area of approx. 2 million sqm, AMSITY. The entire land position acquired for the development of AMSITY, north of the airport, was sold to Schiphol Airport Real Estate in March 2020.

Since the 1960s, Chipshol founder and visionary Jan Poot has made a significant difference in urban planning, both in the Netherlands and internationally. His attractive, unconventional residential park concepts still receive praise after 50 years, and the French ski resort Valmorel, built to his specifications, earned recognition as a model ski resort by the French government.
